In this lighthearted and motivational video, Anthony and Rose take on a challenge many dancers can relate to: helping someone who’s convinced they can’t dance… learn to Two Step in just one day. This isn’t a polished demo—it’s a real, unscripted journey with a complete beginner who’s never danced before and feels totally out of her element. Throughout the video, you’ll see how Anthony and Rose break down the basics of Country Two Step into simple, relatable steps that feel doable—even for someone starting from zero. They address the mindset behind learning to dance, coach through the awkward moments, and celebrate the small wins along the way. The result? A transformation that’s not just about the dance, but about confidence. This is a great watch for anyone who’s ever felt nervous, self-conscious, or “too uncoordinated” to dance. Whether you’re new to dancing or just need a little reminder that you can do this, this video will give you a shot of encouragement and maybe even make you laugh along the way.

X Dance Team Tryouts Ep1

In this episode, we kick off Season 2 of the X Dance Team with open auditions in the heart of Texas at Buck’s Backyard in Austin. We honestly had no idea what to expect — we just threw a quick post online, and suddenly dancers from all over the state were showing up to prove they’ve got what it takes to rep Texas country dancing with us. And yeah… they definitely brought the heat. We’re looking to build something special — not just performers, but a crew of dancers who love the music, the movement, and the honky-tonk life as much as we do. With only a few spots open on this year’s team, the pressure was on from the first round. We had to make some tough calls, but every dancer that showed up made it a day to remember. This episode takes you behind the scenes of the prelims and finals, from judging conversations to awkward transitions, to those split-second moments when it all clicks on the dance floor. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be on the other side of the clipboard — or if you’re just here for the country dancing vibes — this one’s for you.

X Dance Team Tryouts Ep2

In this episode, the X Dance Team finalists are put to the test. With the auditions behind us, it’s time to find out which dancers have what it really takes — not just to perform, but to represent country dancing in Texas with heart, humility, and purpose. We kick things off with a creativity challenge, asking each dancer to come up with choreography on the fly. No prep, no notes — just raw instinct and style. From there, we test something even more important: how they treat people off the stage. Can they connect with beginners? Will they make someone’s night with a three-minute dance? Because that, to us, is what country dancing is really about. Finally, we throw one last challenge at the group: can they take coaching, stay open, and keep learning? We teach them a tricky signature move from last year’s Stagecoach performance — a no-handed dip and snake — and let the group work through it under pressure. At the end of the day, it’s not just about who dances best. It’s about heart, hustle, and how you treat others. And after all the rounds, we reveal our final team — and let’s just say, nobody saw it coming.

A Day In The Life Of A Dancer

Welcome to our wonderfully wild and slightly unhinged life! In this vlog, we take you behind the scenes of what a real day looks like for two full-time dancers, parents, business owners, and sleep-deprived humans who probably bit off more than they could chew (again). From breakfast and booty-building gym sessions to staff meetings, kid-chasing, ice cream truck sprints, accidental wrestling lifts, jelly-roll exposure, and finally—dancing the night away with our students—we somehow survive another jam-packed day. There's tickle fights, pig slices, squishy wet shoes, motivational monologues, and exactly one failed attempt at not turning this vlog into a comedy show. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to balance choreography with carting kids around and squeezing in some questionable aerial lifts in the living room, this is the vlog for you. Spoiler: we don’t stick the landing... but we definitely stick together. So hit play, laugh with us (or at us), and come along for the ride—we may be sore, sleep-deprived, and slightly delusional… but we’re doing what we love.

A Day Of Dance (with Anthony and Rose)

Welcome to one of the busiest (and most fun) days we’ve had in a while. From morning gym sessions and breakfast goodbyes with the kids to photo shoots, video shoots, a full dance class, and even squeezing in a date night at the dancehall—this vlog gives you a real glimpse into the organized chaos that is our life. We kick things off with Rose’s triumphant return to the gym (with big booty goals), then head straight into staff meetings and filming a special dance video at the exact spot where Anthony proposed 8 years ago. Spoiler: there’s cheese. There’s romance. There’s soggy shoes. And yes, there might be a drone involved where a drone probably shouldn’t be. After all that, we change outfits for the third time and hit up Spring Creek BBQ (because Texas), then wrap it all up doing what we love—dancing with friends and closing out a long day with tired feet and full hearts. Come hang out with us for a day! It’s fun, messy, fast-paced, and totally us.

Dancing At Stagecoach Vlog

This was a dream come true. After years of wanting to attend Stagecoach, we didn’t just go—we performed. With less than 2 hours of rehearsal and dancers flying in from all over the country, we pulled together a full-on performance in front of a massive crowd at one of the biggest country music festivals in the world. In this behind-the-scenes vlog, we’ll take you along for every step—from chaotic rehearsals, to backstage jitters, to the magic moment onstage. You'll also see what it's like to teach a giant dance class in the California heat (with a very fun crowd), explore all the amazing things Stagecoach has to offer beyond the music, and dance the night away under the desert sunset. But the weekend wasn’t all smooth sailing. Our crew survived a serious van crash and still showed up the next day with smiles and pure heart. This experience reminded us why we dance, why we create, and why we love doing it with people who bring the same energy and passion. We laughed, we cried, we danced… and then we danced some more. Watch it all unfold—this is Stagecoach, X Dance style.

We Quit ... Kind Of

After filming 1,000 dance videos in front of the same dang couch, we hit a wall. Not because we hate dancing (we don't), and not because we hate making videos (we REALLY don't), but because we realized somewhere along the way, we stopped dancing for us… and started dancing for an algorithm. This video is a love letter to our journey — from filming group class recaps for students to accidentally becoming YouTubers, to now launching a whole new chapter with X Dance. We’ve met amazing people, done some seriously cool stuff, and yes, filmed a lot of b-roll. But now it’s time for something new. So, are we quitting? Yes. We’re quitting the grind. We’re quitting the pressure to chase trends. We’re quitting everything except what we actually love — dancing, creating, and making stuff that fires us up. We’re still making videos. But now we’re doing it our way.

What would happen if you took 14 country dancers from different cities, flew them to California, gave them only 2 hours of practice together, and then made them perform country swing dance in front of the largest country music dance festival in the world? As it turns out, awesomeness. Anthony and Rose Lewis of Country Dance X were invited to perform and teach people how to dance Country Swing dancing at Stagecoach in Indio, CA. Rather than go it alone, they invited some of their "Famous Friends" from Houston, Dallas, Austin, The Woodlands, New Braunfels, and SoCal to join them for a weekend to remember. Since each country dancing couple lives in a different city, they were only able to practice their routine together for 2 hours once everyone arrived in California the day before the Stagecoach Festival began.

So many lifelong memories were made every step along the way. This country dance performance routine was choreographed by Anthony and Rose Lewis of X Dance and includes elements of traditional Country Two Step, contemporary Country Swing dancing, and dips and tricks from the Texas Dancehalls.

This video is part recap, part behind-the-scenes look at Anthony and Rose’s Two Step Tour across the country. Shot at one of their favorite tour stops, this episode gives you a glimpse into what it’s like to attend one of their live boot camps—and lets you review or learn the actual material they taught on the road. They cover the foundational sequence they use in almost every city: rhythmical walking, a right-hand turn into promenade, and a left-hand turn back to closed. It’s a clean, powerful structure that makes up the core of 90% of all Two Step patterns. You’ll get a full walk-through of each move, plus optional variations like sweetheart and alternating underarm turns. They even show how a simple hand change can turn the same footwork into completely different combinations. Whether you were at the event and want a refresher, or you’re watching from home and want to train like you were there, this is a perfect lesson. It’s classic Anthony and Rose—teaching smart material in a relaxed, conversational way that actually sticks.

At the 2025 Stagecoach Music Festival, Anthony and Rose Lewis brought the heat with a genre-blending performance that pushed the boundaries of traditional country dance. Set to Shania Twain’s “Giddy Up!” and Pitbull’s “Get Ready” featuring Blake Shelton, the routine was a high-energy fusion of Two Step, West Coast Swing, Country Swing—and, for the first time on the Stagecoach stage, Cha Cha and Samba. The performance opened with smooth Two Step patterns and classic West Coast timing, then dialed up the tempo with fast-paced Country Swing lifts and playful footwork. Just when the crowd thought they’d seen it all, Anthony and Rose threw in Latin-inspired rhythm changes and hip action that turned the desert heat up another notch. This wasn’t just a performance—it was a statement. A bold blend of tradition and innovation, showcasing how country dance can evolve without losing its roots. The crowd went wild as classic honky-tonk met Miami flair, proving that country dance can groove just as hard as it glides. Filmed live, this set was one of the most talked-about dance moments of Stagecoach 2025—and a perfect example of why Anthony and Rose continue to redefine the dance floor.
